We’re writing this because we want other home purchasers and sellers to learn what a fantastic real estate agent Randy Charlton is.

Randy both helped us sell our home and purchase a new home. In this dual-agent role, his work was easily double, but by doing so we knew that as one piece of the puzzle fell into place with our sale, the same person was handling the same issue with our purchase. Having just one person to deal with was a good choice. But having Randy be that person was absolutely great.

Not having purchased or sold a home for more than a decade and a half, my wife and I were absolutely blown away by the myriad of paperwork that a modern-day transaction requires. It seems like it’s easily 10 times what it was the last time we undertook a new purchase. And since we were selling as well as buying, well, the paperwork was unbelievable.

With Randy, however, it was all handled in the most professional manner. He walked us through each document, patiently explaining what we were being asked to sign, the need for it, the law or agency that required it, and he answered a bunch of questions we had. As you can imagine, the duplication and triplication of some of these documents is sometimes overwhelming. Yet Randy’s knowledge was very confidence inspiring.

Finally, Randy used his connections within the home-maintenance industry to help us expedite a small, but very necessary dry rot repair on the property we were selling. Without his help, we probably would have missed the close of escrow.
